LAVBC TRAVEL

Acceptance of a spot on a LAVBC Travel Team means your player is committed to making ALL travel tournaments. A failure to make a travel tournament may result in the player being dropped from the team.

Travel Teams will travel to compete at Red Rock and at one post-season tournament. This will either be the Girls Junior National Championships the AAU National Championships in Orlando Florida , the Summer Soiree, or Arizona Volley Festival.

All u14 and above teams will travel as a team to tournaments and stay in hotels with their teammates. After the end of tournament play, players may leave the tournament with their parents.

Whether its a new city, state or country the opportunity to travel with teammates through sports is a life changing experience for young athletes.

LAVBC believes the travel experience should also work to inform our players about the world around the. We approach travel with a focus on competition but also with an eye on education and fun.

LAVBC makes travel decisions based on economy and comfort. We make hotel decisions based on what we think will best serve the athletes. When possible we will opt for housing away from smoking, drinking and gambling establishments. We will also lean towards accommodations with kitchenettes that allow families to better control their player’s nutritional needs.
