First day of practices for ages 14u and under is November 1, 2025.
Tryout weekend can be very stressful for players and their families, but try to be patient!
Our coaches can continue to make offers up to 24-48 hours (or at times even longer) after the tryout. You may be an alternate for a team, or have the opportunity to move up to a more competitive team.
Once we receive answers from our initial offers, we will continue to update our Tryout Results Pages and make offers to more players until our team rosters are full.

2026-2027 USAV Age Definitions (Based on July 1 Cutoff)
18 & Under (18U): Born on or after July 1, 2008, or a high school student in the 12th grade or below.
17 & Under (17U): Born on or after July 1, 2009.
16 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2010.
15 & Under (15U): Born on or after July 1, 2011.
14 & Under (14U): Born on or after July 1, 2012.
13 & Under (13U): Born on or after July 1, 2013.
12 & Under (12U): Born on or after July 1, 2014

THE 2026-2027
SEASON
In order to tryout with LAVBC you must also purchase a USA Volleyball Membership. This membership has a more cost-effective level of membership for players who are unsure if they will play club volleyball in the 2026-2027 season. This is called a Tryout Membership. We do not recommend a Tryout Membership for players who are committed to playing club. It is more time efficient to purchase the full membership for these players. Please use the link below to purchase your USAV membership before tryouts.
