COACH TELLY

Coach Telly enters his third season with LAVBC and his second as a Competition Team Head Coach. After spending his competitive years in the sport of basketball and graduating from UC Berkeley, Coach Telly fell in love with the game of volleyball. He has been building the program at LA High School where he is a Vice Principal, and growing in technical knowledge with the staff of LAVBC. Coach Telly’s basketball background has lead to the evolution of some of the fastest moving practices in the club.

Team Waves has progressed a great deal since last season. Former players have leveled-up in their skills and new additions to the team have us in a much better place both physically and mentally. The team has a great, competitive vibe and Coach Telly is running a fast and engaging style of practice. This will be a break-out season for the age group . - Coach Telly
